EXCEPTIONALLY RARE! Brilliant Native Gold
with Petzite on Pink Granite!
Without a doubt, the finest specimen I've seen from this now closed and very short lived
mine!
Very few large specimens came out from this locality and specimens
of this quality can probably be counted on
your hands. The black mineral on the right side is Petzite and this is a fairly scarce
Telluride mineral (Ag3AuTe2).
From the Nugget Pond Gold Mine, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada
Measures 8 cm by 7 cm by 5 cm in total size.
Comes with a custom made, labeled base.
Price $24,500

EXCEPTIONAL!! Museum quality
specimen of crystalline Native Gold wires on Calcite with Pyrite!
Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Gold specimens I have ever seen! When one sees
this specimen,
you are immediately struck by the superb aesthetics and perfect overall balance. The
bright yellow Gold
wires emerge from the pearly-white Calcite seam at the top and extend all the way to the
bottom. On the
far right side of the matrix, there's a single Pyrite cube that adds the perfect finishing
touch to this
remarkable specimen. This piece, placed in a display case, will be the center of attention
every time!
From the San Pedro Mine in Santa Fe County, New
Mexico.
Measures 7.5 cm by 10 cm by 3.5 cm in size.

EXCEPTIONAL! Fine wires of Native Gold
sitting atop Quartz crystals!
This is one of the most impressive Nevada Wire Golds to come to the market in years. The
wires
are firm, not flimsy, and measure from 1 to nearly 4 cms in size! The matrix is covered
with small
crystals of transparent Quartz points, many of which are clustered in small mounds.
Specimens
of wire Gold from the Olinghouse Mine appeared about six years ago and this piece was
cherry-
picked and held back in a private collection. I purchased it directly from the original
owner.
From the Olinghouse District, Washoe County, Nevada.
Measures 7.8 cm by 10.2 cm in size.

Fine specimen of crystalline Native
Gold on Quartz matrix!
Dodecahedrons
and trigons are everywhere on this specimen. The Gold above the Quartz
matrix is basically all crystalline and there must be hundreds of crystals in the
mix. The specimen is
heavy at 50.4 grams (a little shy of two ounces) and priced very reasonably considering
gold value.
From the Eagle's Nest Mine, Placer County, California.
Measures 5.5 cm by 4 cm in size.
Price $3250

VERY RARE NATIVE GOLD SPECIMEN!
Spectacular old specimen of Native Gold in Quartz matrix from Georgia!
This impressive specimen is from Dahlonega, Georgia, which was home to the second gold
rush
period in American History. Dahlonega was a rough patch of ground in northern Georgia back
in the early 1800's and it was also home to the Cherokees. Settlers found their way there
and the discovery of Gold brought in waves of panners and miners, leading to the founding
of the town of Dahlonega and later the Dahlonega Mint which struck the Gold into 1, 2 1/2
and
5 dollar coins. Unfortunately for the Native Americans, it also meant they were to be
displaced
and the government drove them westward into Oklahoma along the now famous "Trail of
Tears".
The town of Dahlonega prospered for a short period but was soon overshadowed by the newer
discovery of Gold in California which pulled away many of its miner inhabitants. The
federal
mint in Dahlonega continued to operate up until the Civil War but never reopened
afterwards.
This is the largest Dahlonega Gold specimen I've seen outside of museums.
From Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, Georgia.
Measures 7.8 cm by 9 cm by 4.3 cm in size.

Gold Rush specimen of Native Gold!
Classic specimen of completely crystalline Native
Gold from the 1850's -1870's Gold Rush
period of California's history! This specimen was mined after the earliest placer period
of Gold
discovery because it is crystalline and is probably from the underground mining that
followed shortly
after the initial panning days of the Gold Rush. There is no water wear or friction
- only hundreds of
fine crystals! There's also a 1.2 cm spinel-law crystal on the far left side (at 10:00 -
11:00 o'clock).
Mixed in among the numerous crystals of Native Gold are Quartz fragments and Sphalerite.
From the Mother Lode period (1850's to 1870's) of Calaveras
County, California.
Measures 5.2 cm by 3.3 cm by 3.2 cm in size. Weighs 71.8 grams.
Ex. Schwethelm

Fine wires of Native Gold on Quartz
with Sphalerite and Galena!
The color of the gold is richer than normal
indicating a lower content of Silver while
some of the wires almost appear to be reddish. This could be a coating or an indicator
of a Copper component in the Gold ratio. Whatever the case, the specimen is very
fine!
From Rosia Montană (Verespatak), Alba County, Romania.
Measures 3.9 cm by 4.5 cm in size.
Price $685
